Months in the Making
Every runner is tufted by hand in Jaipur, India, one spot at a time, by artisans who've spent decades mastering the craft. A single rug takes months from loom to your floor. When it lands in London, we unroll it, check every inch, and only then does it earn the Yililo name. That's why there are only 65. That's why there won't suddenly be more.

The Leopard Runner FAQs
Are these 100% Wool Runners?
Yes. Every Yililo runner is crafted from
100% New Zealand wool. Unlike synthetic, petroleum-based plastic rugs (polyester/nylon), our natural wool fibres are more durable, sustainable, and provide that signature luxury feel.
What does "Hand-Tufted" mean?
It means your rug wasn't made on a mass-production machine. Every piece is individually hand-tufted by master artisans in India using traditional heritage techniques. This "Slow Decor" process takes months to complete, ensuring every leopard spot is punchy and precise.
How thick is the rug pile?
We specialize in an ultra-plush 12mm pile height. This creates the signature Yililo "squish factor," making it the perfect soft-touch art for your hallway or bedside.
Why is my new wool rug shedding?
Don't worry, shedding is a normal characteristic of high-quality wool rugs. You may see some light "fluff" during the first 4 months as the natural fibers settle.
How do I clean a 100% wool runner?
Wool is naturally stain-resistant. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For general maintenance, a gentle vacuum once a week (without a rotating brush head) will keep your "Dopamine Decor" looking vibrant for years.
Can I use this in high-traffic areas?
Absolutely. Wool is nature’s miracle fiber it's incredibly resilient and naturally "bounces back" after being walked on. This makes our leopard print runners ideal for hallways, landings, and busy entryways.
Can I use this with underfloor heating?
Yes. Because wool is a natural insulator, our rugs are perfectly safe and effective for use on homes with underfloor heating.
Do I need an anti-slip mat?
While our runners are heavyweight and sturdy, we always recommend a standard anti-slip rug underlay for use on polished wood or tile floors to ensure maximum safety and "grip".
Will the colours fade?
We use premium dyes to keep our colours "insane". However, like any textile, we recommend avoiding placing your rug in direct, intense sunlight for long periods to keep those spots popping.
How fast is delivery?
Since our rugs are already made and waiting in our UK studio, we dispatch via tracked courier within 2-3 days.
What is your return policy?
We offer 30-day returns - if it's not right for your space, just let us know. Rugs must be unused and rolled back in their original packaging, and return postage is covered by the customer (it's a big parcel — around £12–15 tracked). Every rug is hand quality-checked in our London studio before dispatch, so what arrives is exactly what you saw.
Is this a limited edition?
Yes. Because our rugs are hand-tufted in small batches, we only have a strictly limited number of pieces per drop (35 Yellow / 30 Pink). Once they’re gone, they’re gone for a long time.
